I can't wait to get my hands on this thing!

ha ha ha

Well, we will find out if they are nailing their target when future steam sales are either better, the same, or worse.

why can't you expect steam to drop the discounts to ridiculously low prices?

exactly right. Time to stop thinking of steam as the Holy Grail of PC gaming, and more like the Wal-Mart of PC gaming, because that is pretty much what it is. EVERYONE shops at steam.

I don't think anyone, anywhere, ever, in the history of the planet would state that gamestop was a good deal, at any point in time under the sun. I gag when I think about going in there.

Worst sale ever compared to other Steam sales. And, that is an apples to apples comparison.

The indies should absolutely not be competing with the AAA titles, there is no chance that a game I've never heard of is going to win, even competing against sim city 4, which I've played a thousand times, and isn't worth $.04 to me.

It is not unreasonable. Steam sales used to do exactly this. What is happening, is Steam is acting just like Wal-Mart. They come into town, lower the prices beyond anything you've ever seen and they attract everyone to shop there... then two years down the road you find you are actually looking at prices higher than

Very True.

Yeah, what the hell is with these stupid cards?

I know plenty of people, myself included, who do not think $5 is trivial. Hordes of people. And I definitely do not think any game is worth $5.

Before Mass Effect 2 came out I bought Mass Effect for $1.00, I think?

I don't understand professional gaming. It's an oxymoron to me and I stay away from them. I have a profession and I don't want my gaming to be anything remotely equivalent to work, grind, rage.

Misery loves company.

If this ever happens, the way this guy states - that I can make games on my pc using xbox resources and seamlessly transfer, I will definitely buy an xboxone.

I think that is exactly the point. Nintendo does not operate in order to continually appease the gamers who grew up with the original NES. Nintendo operates as if everything they do is the first time, for new eyes.

Yeah, I just completely disagree with everything you wrote on a fundamental level. As in, what you've written is not true so I can't even argue against it. It is your opinion, but it isn't true.

I think you are right about that. The guys making these games have been doing it forever and I don't think that they have the passion, the spark, or the desire to do it anymore. This is their life and they are living it out because what else?

I actually bought a Wii U, I know stupid me, but I didn't have a Wii and was thinking it would be a better launch. I've not played the level that you are referring to, but I did play some cool levels in the star road on Mario Wii U. I wonder if it is similar to this "run for it?"
