I pretty much agree completely. And I pretty much disagree completely with the whole trope idea. The thing is, liberal media only wants to see something that has not been done. I'm not trying to slight liberals, but if this game had a female homosexual protagonist with a mentally retarded black transgendered male

I hate games on rails... except for Naughty Dog games because the stories are so darn good (for video games.)

I agree. I enjoyed the balance, but it certainly never felt as though it was unfair or even really difficult. Nothing like playing the first Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Thank God for Dark Souls. I'm not a masochist, but I lose interest very fast if there is no challenge. This game could have been harder and not lost me.

It was not a token death, lol. That was a pretty legitimate way to start a script. If you had a daughter and could relate then you'd have felt pretty bad about that. I know I did.

I have not yet seen a game handle cinematic moments better than TLOU. I agree, too many cinematic moments or too many at the wrong time for the wrong reason and you are no longer in a game but more an interactive movie.

It disgusts me, the interviewer's line of questions so often retreads the phrase "did you ever consider making it easier?"

84 was generous.

The single best review I've ever read.
