@kfkerfuffle: right, i guess everyone assumed i meant internally happy. i would just think that all the pressure from society would make the majority of overweight/obese people feel unhappy. and i can't imagine that every single overweight/obese person is strong enough to shrug off socially constructed norms and love

okay, i'm about to say something and i'm not sure how it's going to come out or what my point is:

@Taegre: agreed, she was completely amazing.

@magnets: Yeah, you all are sort of changing my mind. I guess I do watch more tv online than I do actual movies.

@DorothyBarker: i did not know all this. i don't actually have tv. i do watch a fair amount of HBO series. so maybe it's not a step down perse. I guess it's hard to wrap my head around, because I think of Keaton as an actress demigod. But as long as HBO can step up to that, then it's okay.

Diane Keaton on TV?! For goodness sake she was in the Godfather! and was Woody Allen's muse for a while.

@lollilove: I agree, I love her, but I'm hoping for something out of left field to make sure she's legit. Hard Candy was different but still had the "I'm unusuallly mature for being a kid", like Juno and the roller derby movie. I'd hate to see her pigeon-holed.

i'm not that into glee, i kind of put of just put it on when i'm eating dinner or something. i dug the madonna songs, but i never really felt very invested/interested in any of the characters.

i can't believe an ad like this wouldn't run in the states—or anywhere. it's so simple and uncontroversial. need help? there's a hotline.

@jenalicious: i would also think it would be a good idea to include it in the invite, if say, the couple's crew was generally a casual kind, but they wanted to make sure the wedding was a more upscale event.

Boy, from the comments, it sure sounds like Lost got around a lot.

@Citizen Kang: i dont think that would be hard. there's a lot of idiots out there.

@The Queen of No: can richard even die? remember the whole dynamite thing with jack in the boat?

@baquelita: i agree that i thought it was uncharacteristic of widmore to just be like ohh save penny! i'll tell you everything!

@sparky: my impression is that hugo and sayid were going off to someplace else that's not the charity event. and perhaps there they'll meet charlie, sawyer, locke, ben and whoever else might be involved.

I regret having ever given him any money by buying his books. Never again!

@AnneV6: you're not a sour puss, you're just smart. i agree.

Just speaking for personal experience, my parents will not technically divorced, had a long rough patch with lots of splitting up. And I think a side effect of not having money and being less educated is a general lack of lust for life.

i think she's gotta find her own groove. does she write her own stuff? seemed a bit like it was writing done for sarah that erin's trying to pull off. super excited for her, i bet the show and erin will be great!

Then, last month, Ambrose Olsen, star of dozens of campaigns for Hugo Boss and Armani, was found hanged by a room-mate.
