does this seem crazy that the improper behavior was happening "off-school grounds," presumeable during off-school hours. why should the school be checking in on the students during non-school hours?

i wonder if the moms aren't extra terrible (constantly on their daughters' cases) to their daughters because they feel that they're being judged as mothers because people will be watching them on TV and the audience is naturally going to make assumptions like, she must be a terrible mom her daughter got pregnant at…

@ExtensionOfBob: I think freegans are people who try to consume only free things - food, clothes, everything. as a result it's a lot of freebies from the trash can. and they're usually not people who have to do it (i.e. homeless) but people who choose to do it and stop doing it as they please.

i don't think his first remark about them was all that strange. it just seemed like a father trying to embarrass his daughters. it just got weird when he went on and on about them... like his speech was a dating announcement.
