ohmygod. i've never heard of this. and i am deeply reassured by it. as an asian american (biracial) female, i've always had issues with depression/suicide. and strangely enough, the few times i've gone to counselingthe conversation always ends up about my mom (asian). and that's usually when i stop going.

The short answer to your question is: yes. Women's issues/feminism are going to be/are being thrown to the forefront. And of course, people will always attempt to monetize it.
