We wanted children, but were never successful. Over the years when people asked if we have children and I saidno”, it was so often followed by how children are one of life’s greatest joys, or “you should do it”. Now that I’m turning 40, I’m coming to the sobering realization that some people still don’t just stop at

That entire room (Donegal/Merlot/Dakota/Mortimer) needs to be adopted as a group - they are hysterical! They will feature prominently again in the next update.

These kinds of things always make me wonder what is ever “enough” for these people? What is the point of growth for the sake of growth? A monument to ego?
The 10 million they spent on their theme park thing could have been put in trust for their children and they could probably live off their investments and earnings

Thank you!

There’s a guy I follow on Twitter -Fergus Craig- who does voicework. He’s got this character Detective Roger Le Carre (he’s writing a Le Carre novel) who’s based in Exeter.

Lord, I love Max and Leo.

As always, I want to go to your house to eat ;-). That bread looks gorgeous and there’s never too much cinnamon—also, the tacos look yummy.

Holy crap, that’s a sight to make you think.

Shelter Cat Update!

Debris got thrown nearly 300 meters away despite preparatory measures to mitigate including trench work, walls, and 400 tonnes of sand.

Oh God, I hear you so hard on Groundhog Day. Everything you’re describing-the days are just bleeding into each other, and I’m very very fortunate that I get to spend my pandemic with the only person I really want to be with, and that we’re pretty damn safe, but still. I get up, I work online, I eat, I maybe work

Costco is awesome !!! We joke that everything is better at Costco (in Russian accent) after hearing my FIL spout it’s endless merits.  But it’s true.

I am starting to craft aquarium decorations for the tiny human to wake up to in a few weeks. I’ve made some adorable little fish& turtles out Dixie cups and penguins out of paper plates. I’ll post some photos later hopefully. I just can’t pull them out now or the surprise will be seen

What’s worse: that my upcoming monthly Costco run is something I am desperately looking forward to OR that even in the Before Times going to Costco was a highlight of my month?

What has everyone made this week? I started knitting cute tiny little cats from patterns from MochiMochiLand, can’t wait until I finish. I have the first cat done just have to finish up the box it sits in. I also made some barbacoa tacos, with pickled onions (my onions didn’t turn as pink as every other pickled red

So this happened in this neck of the woods today, Army/Royal Navy detonated what appeared to an old forgotten gift from the Luftwaffe in the form of a 1000kg bomb.

I feel like I’m in a bit of a GroundHog’s Day loop. Same shit just a different day. After almost a year of us being home pretty much 24/7 tho I guess it’s expected. Anyone else getting down like this ? Don’t get me wrong, I’m very grateful we’ve managed to keep day to day life as normal as possible despite everything.

Hey everyone! I’m a regular commenter but have never posted to SNS.

It’s a beautiful day on the shores of Lake Erie. The best part is that it is warm enough for the first time this year for kids to run around outside.

Honestly I think the startling fact about the show a lot of people are just now starting to realize is that it is not going to be some gigantic, multiverse spanning, mutant-introducing, reveal-every-main-MCU-plot-for-the-next-6-years event.
Hope people can finally stop digging for theories that aren’t ever going to be
