It’s absolutely not wrong to feel that. I think if you’re personally okay with moving (I’m a weenie and hate change), nothing should hold you back. It must be such a relief (sadly) for your one sister to finally understand what your life has been like, and it’s good that she’s in your corner. You shouldn’t feel guilty

Oof. I feel this very hard. I’m kinda scared to have my bloodwork done since the pandemic.... in 2019 my cholesterol doubled from 2 years previous (wah) but a year ago I felt a lot more optimistic.... and then the pandemic just wiped it all out. I never go outside anymore. Sometimes I have willpower, but I’ve ended up

Hallow is adorable!  I love the expression. :D  And I hope Frank gets a break.  He’ll understand eventually!

Oh man, I absolutely hear you on the minutiae thing. I’m WFH and technically don’t live alone, but my roommate is gone during the day (THANK GOD) + she spends the weekend at her boyfriend’s house + 2 evenings over at his house + we don’t talk hardly at all when she is here.... so I feel like all the stupid

That chunky little focaccia looks amazing.  @_@  And the baguettes, I just want to gnaw on them!

Wow!! I love it! It’s so realistic, and to know it starts from completely flat plain paper is just amazing. I love that sort of stuff. :D  And even with just a few simple colors of paper.  And best of all, they’ll last a long time!!  I watched a mini-documentary on silk flower-making and it was fascinating to watch it

Bah, it did post both. I hate this comment system sometimes, lol. Anyway, glad it worked and you enjoyed the link!! Ooh glad I’m not alone in the costume love — YES, omg, Downton Abbey, the show that launched a million outfit lusts... I love Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries for the same reason. Oomf. But how neat to

Awesome! Oh man, same — I loved the idea of the Ren Faire but was too afraid to really dress up other than the first year when my parents let me rent a costume (and get sunburned to all hell lol). Oooh, I missed most of CoCovid but I love going back to all the stuff all the contributors posted! It’s amazing how much

I think it ate my post and now I’m annoyed. I don’t want to write it all over again! lol. Wah! Historical costuming/historical clothing. WWII. Deep twitter dives — found one last night on early firefighting.

I -love- learning about historical costuming / historic clothing. So much droolworthy stuff going on online. I doubt I’ll get into actually making it myself (not really committed enough to buying a sewing machine / figuring out fabrics / can’t really learn or do fittings when I’m alone and get stuck in my outfits...

Aww!! I love it!! How fun that she sent a craft. :D Awesome that she’s enjoying the senior living, I know it can be an adjustment for some. I would love for my mom to get back to her crafty roots. We used to make a lot of stuff with puff paint in the 90s... ;D Hahah. Ahh, I’m sure it will be appreciated regardless — I

Awww, I love that your mom sends cards too!  Oh man, doilies.  I remember making crafts with those.... it’s a nice memory, but it’s too bad it didn’t get saved. ;_;  And thanks -- yes, they drive me nuts sometimes but I’m very very very lucky and grateful that they care, and verbalize it. :)  Definitely a win.

Yikes, regardless..... I’d be creeped out too!

Happy birthday! Congrats on the shapeliness, I appear to have lost that battle, hahaha. Red velvet is totally worth it!

Ahhh, those cookies look delicioussss. The slightly crackly tops just make me want to shove five in my face! I haven’t cooked in a while. I’m back off the horse again. :( I did make parsnips with butter and orange juice a few....weeks ago. -_- I did whip up an entire bagel discussion on instagram though and had some

lol, I actually burst out laughing when I got to this picture.  Thank you!  Dog seems like a wonderful goofball!

Helvetica’s stretch is Olympic-level!

I posted last night on the Friday night “best V-Day memory” post about my mom making/sending me cards, and it made me a little teary:

I just got a card in the mail completely unexpected! ;_; Waaah. My mom said a few things including “thanks for sharing about instagram and youtube for [work]!”... there was a line on the pre-printed card message with “And passion you show for things you believe.” and my dad writes underneath “and you rarely mask any

I don’t really have a Valentine’s that stands out, but I always think of my mom. When I was away at college and horribly homesick, she’d send me a card for every holiday with some themed confetti inside and sometimes a care package with themed post-it notes or a magnet. It meant so much to me to get mail! And when I
