To me the GLE (and E class) are just big highway cruisers (and they work for this). I’d prefer to get a C (or GLC) if I wanted a cushy car that could also handle some corners (sorta). Though, for the price of a GLC I could pick up a Macan S or GTS, which is a better car in every way.

Have you ever driven in one? It might be outdated (by MB standards) but it’s still nice, and probably nicer than most BMW interiors (though they are getting better).

No kidding. I was selling a car on Autotrader a few years ago for $15k. Clean, low milage, similar cars with twice the milage were going for around 11-12k. Every person that called me were offering like 6-8k for it. Ending up selling it for 14.5k after the buyer had his mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb.
