Yeah, the problems with Song of the South are not something that minor changes could fix. At best you’d really have to remake the whole thing, and rewrite everything, from the script to the framing/premise etc. It would be an entirely different movie, because it would need to be.

I’m going to get flamed/read for this. This is a tragedy no doubt, and NONE of it is ok ever. While I was reading through the article I kept wondering if the gross incompetence was because of the victims color or not.
