I don’t even know how to respond to this.

My all time favorite John Waters quote:

Nah, she’s way cooler than Nicki.

The twerking to the flute, the “BITCH” between flute notes. Lizzo is my feelgood goddess.

That twerking and then spinning around to reveal a flute (where did it come from?) is some serious magician’s playbook misdirection, lol!

That’s pretty much my take on it. WTF is he asking “the feminists” to do? Defend her? Why? On what grounds? She’s not been criticized for her gender. She’s been criticized because she’s a mendacious shill for the most corrupt president in US history. That makes her fair game for criticism. “The feminists” do not have

What the hell is he even talking about with that initial Sarah Sanders tweet? Does he think feminism means blindly defending anyone with a vagina from any kind of criticism?

I used to get so angry about popular movies/music/TV/etc that I thought were terrible. Then I grew up and realized not everything is made for me and that’s okay.  Apparently a lot of people haven’t learned that yet.

Wow, that comic is very evocative. I remember playing dress up with teen aunts and overhearing things I shouldn’t have. Very interesting!

There actually is a lot in her story that makes sense. For example, it is entirely possible that “drugs didn’t really work” AND that she became dependent on them (this happens to lots of people).

Absolutely! We happen to live in a market where a nanny is cheaper than full time daycare for two and we like the convenience and personal nature of it. We actually have a live in au pair, which sounds snobby as hell but is really slightly less expensive than a nanny and has been an incredible joy for our family. I

I mean, she had the biggest stand-up special of last year so I really feel this on you for not knowing her.

This.

Maybe if they smiled more.

Good. You don’t deserve to hear such awesome ladies.

Far too many times have I seen a woman rise to power as a champion for other women, only to make clear her vision of feminism is only for white women.

And I don’t care what the judges say, Silky’s performance wasn’t anything special, but then the whole group just seemed loud and confused.

I was honestly shocked at Shuga’s critiques. They laughed at her jokes throughout the whole performance so it felt very... produced that she was in the Bottom 2.

I don’t know what I like more, that Hough turns to the camera liks getting smacked in the face with a hat was the greatest moment of her life or that Abdul appears to be totally invested in Pia Zadora cosplay now.
