My understanding is the has said he’s going to donate a million dollars, but he has not actually done so yet. I’ll be impressed when I see the receipts.

Donald Trump “pledging” to donate $1m and Donald Trump actually donating $1m are two very different things. My guess is this donation, if it happens, will be funded through the foundation, to which he actually contributes nothing.

Let’s also be clear that on the few occasions he has honored a financial pledge, it’s invariably someone else’s money he ends up using to write the check.
