Real talk, as a kid I hated Buttons and Mindy segments because Button'sife was miserable trying to protect Mindy and the parents, unaware of the hell he went through trying to do that, treated him like garbage.

Chicken Boo is great absurdist humor.

It wasn’t just the ending. The show rapidly went downhill after season 4, and was an unfettered clusterfuck waaaaay before the legendary finale.

King’s Joker at least felt more like a depressed comedian than Snyder’s demon-king-Joker. I prefer my Joker in the vein of Batman: The Animated Series, who is still sort of a murderclown but damn it, he’s having fun. Make some jokes, Joker! Japes!

Hilarious that Adult Swim’s self-examination consists of erasing content from a show about black people made by a black person and not, say, addressing the fact they saw nothing wrong with platforming fuckin’ Sam Hyde. Yeah, I know his show was quietly run off off their online platforms this year - quietly is the key…

Well Steve Agee is no Ron Funches, but I’m good with it. It seems they’re sticking with a similar type of character as the cartoon, which I like. 

lol yeah the fact that jimmy fallon and james corden took over for conan and ferguson is really crazy in hindsight.

It looks ugly for no reason other than to be “like Bob’s burgers and Rick and Morty, but not.”

Ugh, why does every animated show look exactly like this now. 

Compared to “It’s created by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon writer...”? Yes. 

This honestly just makes me miss Stroker and Hoop.

Hoops has all the promising makings of the next big animated show. It’s created by The Late Late Show With James Corden writer

It’s unfair of me, but my gut reaction is to pass on shows with this animation style unless I hear that they’re really good. It’s just not visually appealing to me at all.

Bull.  Even if Kricfalusi isn’t actively involved, he is doubtless receiving money from licensing his IP, and royalties as well.  This show cannot be made without being complicit with the man.

The worst part is that Paul Tibbitt himself said shortly after it was first announced that Hillenburg would have never approved of it.

I know I said it when this was announced but I want to reiterate how fucked up it is that Nick announced a new way to cash in on SpongeBob not even a year after his creator’s death.
