Definitely. Between Slater and Lana/Archer bickering over Veronica Deane (I AM SO OVER THIS), this was a weak one — but, still, overall, this season is my favorite since they left ISIS.

it's the power of dickishness!

Though I think Jersey is JUST Jersey, rather than New Jersey?

Would it be gauche to hope for a Budd Dwyer style press conference?

Jimmy Pesto (whom I pretty much agree with you on — he usually comes off as the kind of pure antagonist that I'm not sure fits with Bob's Burgers) is voiced by Jay Johnston of Mr. Show — and yeah, a genius performer.

I thought the $2,000 was what the Fancy Montana Camp cost — presumably the day camp was way cheaper.

A chain — but a relatively small one. I think there might be like, 20 in the US? (I have not researched that.)

Serialized comedy is fine — I can really, really get into it — the serialization is one of the things I love most about, say, Bojack Horseman. I just don't think the Grinder's good at it, because they seem to treat "story" as a dirty word.

Ethan should be on the stage crew….

Yeah — so much of the Grinder was saying "HEY THIS IS A DUMB THING" while being merely content to just do the dumb thing instead of commenting on it/deconstructing it/taking it to its logical conclusion.

To be honest, the back-half of the season has been so generally meh, I don't really want another season. But I pretty much agree with everything here, as usual.

Yeah — and if it comes back, I hope they don't try for another arc again. For the most part, the back-end of the season just didn't work for me; if everything resets, their stupidity is understandable. But for everyone to so agressively NOT learn ends up being frustrating. I really REALLY wanted Stu to tell everyone

Yeah, I was mad when Debbie kept him and Dean Sr. from running away. I was all YES, LET THEM GO. FIX THE SHOW! THEN MAYBE THEIR VAN CAN GO OFF A CLIFF ON THEIR TRIP.

Yeah — TBH, that was kind of the misfire of the first season, IMHO? I really hope we don't get more of Kimmy's idiot step-dad. That was awful. (Not to mention Tina Fey as Andrea >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tina Fey as Fake Marcia Clark)

FOR REALS. Honestly, I only mainly know who it is because of seeing the co-hosts on @Midnight. Jonah Ray is oh-kay (I mean, I am a big MST3K fan so I have to keep the faith there I guess) but, yeah.

Did you start with "The National Anthem"? If so, give it another shot — while I like that episode, it's the absolute worst to start with, and it's kinda baffling they made it the premiere?

Yeah — his co-hosts are what keep me from listening to Nerdist more than I do. Matt Mira is the unfunniest dude ever.

I saw Eugene Mirman live pretty recently, and there was one bit that was kind of funny:

…..yeah, but shouldn't have there been some sort of comment or… something done?

Yeah - I think my only issue with Claire is that they don't give her anything to do.
