I dunno - to me, between that and Princess Cookie, I think that they see "princess" and "king" as just roles or titles.  (My idea about Marcy being a Queen and Ice King's fanfic featuring Princes is that they're the two characters from the pre-Mushroom War, so they know the "proper" terms.)

I was so pissed off by the constant ads/crawls/bumpers for it (including a SECOND commercial break in the middle of "Silver Dude") I didn't even watch it.  That shit was so annoying that I'm hoping the show crashes and burns regardless of whether or not it's any good.

At least it was cleaned up a little (the original claimed Lauren Faust was in some way responsible for EQG, when it probably would have made her throw up in her mouth a little).

I was in the same boat.  It was kind of funny, too, considering that we'd had 50-Vc. Doberman for a while, which is like, 4-5 albums' worth of stuff — and about 99% all super high quality, which is amazing — but that's not enough.  MORE ROBBIE.  And I'm glad that we're getting more.  I cannot wait for his new one.

In Seattle, at least (where we ran on time so YMMV) — it was Axe Cop, High School, Sunday's Axe Cop, Sunday's High School, and then a Cleveland Show rerun.  Which I didn't watch because fuck Cleveland.

I live in Seattle, and we have the Vancouver CBC affiliate on our cable feed — and it was really interesting to go between CBC and NBC, where you have basically how you'd think it'd be covered versus… NBC's Crapfest.  Like where CBC would cover the opening ceremonies and NBC would end up talking over Bjork's brand new…

I love that NBC seems to be fighting to find ways to make their Olympics coverage even worse.
