First of all, I would never be in a situation where this is something I would have to consider. I wouldn’t rent an apartment for my cats and leave them alone there. So is the landlord feeding and caring for the cats? Do they get quality time with humans? I know people think cats are super independent but they still need love and care. My cats get sad when we go on vacation, and we have someone who comes over to care for them and hang out with them daily.
