Well having an affair with someone married is bad, at work or otherwise, so that was destined to not end well. I feel you though, most people are not mature enough to handle workplace relationships of any form.

I dated a co worker for 6 years, and though we're not together, still friendly and on great terms. Not everyone is an asshole , harasser, etc. And yes, I realize that this is purely anecdotal, but important to note, I think.
