She got paid per stutter so I think you mean you pity the audience.

While I like Clark Gregg, Ive never understood the huge amount of love for Coulson.
"…it's never been clear why Ollie wouldn't think the world would be a better place with him running the League instead of (the current) Ra's"
The biggest shame with Thea is that the writers set us up for something way way back in the pilot and never saw it through.
Actually, a lot of people recognize the talent of Willa Holland and "don't like Thea" because of how poorly she has been written for in comparison to Felicity who is far less talented yet gets 90% more screen/story time.
Based on who the writers are most focused on then Ollie would be written out and the show would end up being about Felicity, Laurel and Ra's talking about their feelings by way of constant Flashbacks.
My guess is that it is worn around the neck and amplifies her voice to some sort of sonic nag. But yeah, it was weird he handed it to her and she just knew how it worked or something.
Imprisoning "Everyman" was really the biggest question mark on their system.
Writer boredom?
We've all been wondering since Day 1. I think the shows response was to create this blog:
Eobard/Wells seems to have inherited Wells intelligence so it can be solved by playing exorcist and sending Eobard back to the future leaving Wells/Cavanaugh back in control. But the big problem there is that it cheapens the entire dual-minds Firestorm storyline.
Another dud episode? Sadly, I'd have to say Yes.
Actually, the show has always been about "bait and switch" since the writers don't seem to have a clear idea of what theyre doing.
Grodd always uses big words to make himself sound smarter.
Losing Felicity would be the best thing his show could do because it would shift focus to the more interesting Sibling/Mentor Thea/Ollie relationship.
You're mistaking chemistry with biology.
The Ollie / Thea sibling relationship is infinitely more interesting than the Ollie / Felicity nonsense.
Don't be silly. It's season 3 so many of them are already 14 by now.
Yeah. Like proving mental superiority over anonymous people on the Internet with lectures of what people should do with their time.
It really was a huge drop in quality. After such a fantastic "sophomore year" then you'd think they nailed the formula. But here we are with these stories that just feel like they're being retold over and over for the entire season.
