I would contend that Ollie and Felicity NEVER worked.

You're forgetting "little arrow" is already out there after Moira paid off his high school girlfriend to disappear. Oh I can't wait for that great story to drag the show down even more.
I really was enjoying your post until you did it… The "racism" card? Really? It is very easy to explain why Iris strikes out and it has nothing to do with race.
While I understand the jab, I do have a huge amount of respect for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck as "celebrity parents".
Ben Affleck apologizes because media went bat$#!t crazy over non-story.
Oh my gawwwwd. Felicity may have come started out as cute and quirky but now she's just an obnoxious turd.
I really wish Joss Whedon was given a chance at this.
Its a serious concern in the real world. But in translating shows based on 1970's comics then does every woman have to be without a tragic backstory or get transformed from a male god of thunder to a female one?
I'm repeating myself since I said pretty much the same thing in Olivers Daredevil review…. but Olivers enjoyment of television seems to be severely handicapped by his quest to declare every female character to be oppressed and restrained. If theres no girls then he gets upset that theres no female representation. And…
I really wonder if Olivers "eternal search for oppressed women in television" gets in the way of him enjoying these shows.
Zendaya gets fashion criticism on fashion criticism show = Bullying
Id love to see this but under the pen of edgier writers. It should be a Full House parody starring the cast of Full House.
Give a good actor some weighty drama and they'll stir up your emotions. Give drama to Felicity and they make you swear at your TV.
The thing that worries me is that there is no actual proof the Tudyk is a good comedy writer.
Watch Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, and Rick Cosnett sing the theme for Firefly.
Yeah. Its really weird because if she had the powers of turning things into gold we'd buy into it, but for Cisco to make a gun that does it then suddenly its unbelievable.
Its sad that the entire cast seems to be on a downward slope… Except Wells who is amazing.
The writers rely far too heavily on FB comments as a measurement of what the actual audience wants. They have tweens screaming for Olicity, FeliciPalm or Flash-Incest and then they dedicate 40% of each episode to these dead end and unnatural storylines that just get in the way of everything. Its frustrating.
Introducing Linda Park was clearly a mistake.
Seeing speedsters "in real life" (on TV/Film) really changes how you view them.
