Yes. The problem with Time Travel is that if you show the audience that you can do it once then you make them wonder why they don't do it every time.

As for the writing for women on these shows… yes. They are terrible writers for women because they all end up written as bland stereotypes. So it puts a lot of pressure on the actors to elevate the character. A good actor like Willa Holland can add depth where there is none, but a bad actor like Emily Bett-Rickards
