I really feel that there's a solid half season to be had with Ollie, Thea and Merlyn vs League of Shadows.

Brainwash Thea to kill Laurel. Now with two dead Lance sisters at her hands then the guilt drives her to don the wig and becomes the new Black Canary. (After shortening the jacket of course. She's got that exposed middriff contract to uphold)
The introduction of Bizzarrow.
It's their Plan B
I'm not sure what the writers intent is with Linda Park.
"Roy has become more interesting than Oliver."
"But that's not going to happen because Canon dictates otherwise. "
While I understand your point, isn't the whole "Its CW so relationship nonsense is unavoidable" thing just an excuse for bad writing? CW is leading the way in Superhero Shows so if something isnt working they should change it for the sake of good television.
I'm going to make a bold statement here: No.
I think Dr Stein pulled the gun on himself so he wouldn't have to watch another cutaway to the Barry/Iris/Linda Love triangle.
I'm hoping for a 2hr special where Barry, Iris and Linda talk more about their feelings without the constant interruption of "super hero" nonsense.
I'm surpirised that this even has to be explained, but The entire appeal of Felicity is how ordinary and average she is.
I blame Facebook Comments.
Considering how much air Felicity takes in during her "dramatic line readings" then there's no breathing room for anyone. (Zing)
Definitely! Just like with Felicity, it seems like the writers have once again put Caitlin's character motivations in the hands of the Facebookers who care more about shipping than realistic relationships.
I think it's less to do with "too many" and more to do with EVERY storyline being uninteresting.
I prefer "Friends"
Barry's future grandson Dr Wells introduces Linda his Uncle Wally during Barry's wedding to his sister.
Wonderful. Now we have another flashback to look forward to.
At least with Merlyn it was a 1990's flashback so his suit and wig were time appropriate.
