I was just surprised that Mario’s nipples didn’t have accompanying mustaches

Thank you. ❤️ I’m probably even more aware of the looks and feel more self conscious because of my sister’s experiences. But I am also constantly asked about my condition, so I also know it’s literally the first thing someone sees when they look at me, and often how I am somehow defined.

This exactly! My sister passed away when she was 19 because of an asthma-related issue. A year or so before she died, her pulmonologist issued a handicapped tag for her car, and her pulmonologist and cardiologist warned her not to exert herself, as her respiratory condition was causing too much strain on her heart.

Heart kids like mine should still get to enjoy the playground even though they might need a little help with the walk home later. They aren’t completely unable to move. They just tap out a little sooner.

I used to judge strollers, but now I have a kid with a heart condition who might need one for longer ventures at that age, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from looking at her that she isn’t healthy.

she would only ever be a trophy wife.

I know I’m wading into a ball pit filled with mousetraps trying to comment on this while being a man... but I knew a woman who was breastfeeding her 4 year old. I remember him finishing with one side and verbally asking his Mom to switch to the other side. And if she refused or told him he was done, he threw a tantrum.

Tbh I did it and the worst part I felt about it was the noise pollution. My group fully kept up with the speed of the roads and we never caused obstruction. We maybe sat at one light cycle because they didn’t want to risk separating the group.

This comment reminded me of the work martyrs at regular jobs, who boast about never taking time off for vacation or sick leave, and generally make people feel guilty for using their PTO. And then they are the first to volunteer for OT. It’s like a competition to see who can be the most miserable. Ugh, they are cancer.

I’ve “survived” the whole crunch ritual myself. It spanned the 6-8 weeks before the title is due, and we were expected to work 14-15 hour days. I averaged about 104 or 105, and that was lower than most on the team because I had a long commute. Being contractors, we didn’t have much choice other than work the hours

“The action-packed tale of ‘Mega’ Manfred Jones (Mark Wahlberg), a no-nonsense cop with a chip on his shoulder and a heart of gold. One day, when Manfred loses his hand in a drug bust gone south, he’s enlisted in a secret government program to blend ballistics with prosthetics, headed by Cal ‘Light’ Toren (Jonah

I will be linking to this article (and the previous one) for my students during the fall semester when I cover the subject of plagiarism. I try to have a new “real-world” story for them every semester, to demonstrate that plagiarism has professional and legal consequences well beyond the academic sphere, and this one

I’m going to go with a different direction than the Dr. here about #1.

While we’re at it: WRESTLING FANS

This whole column should be called “How to guilt people into screwing themselves and paying me more.” None of this advice is geared towards actually improving a dining experience. It is just a how-to guide for waitstaff to get larger tips.

It was one of the few that I felt like I had to show multiple friends in hopes of getting them to watch it. :)

It’s linked to Strange Journey Redux which comes out in Japan in 9 days. The game comes out in the West in early 2018 so they may translate it when they start marketing the Western release next year

Maybe it wasn’t such a tight seal after all.

in the older version of the game it always struck me, yeah, they have 80 or so games, but around half were the junk atari looking games. my genesis still works, and it looks like its the Sega smash pack/classics collection thing resold one more time. got deeper in the back catalog, get the renovation games, i wanna
