I think 90% of Jezebel staffers just don’t want a white guy, regardless of his policies, ability to win and govern, etc. I recall quite well how in 2016 many Jezebel staffers (aside from the one dude who wrote positively about Bernie) went HARD on how bad Bernie and “BernieBros” were while they stanned for Hillary.

I agree military worship in America is ridiculous, but if we’re talking about candidate qualifications, I’d say it’s very fair to give Pete a check in the “pro” column for his military service.
