I think 90% of Jezebel staffers just don’t want a white guy, regardless of his policies, ability to win and govern, etc. I recall quite well how in 2016 many Jezebel staffers (aside from the one dude who wrote positively about Bernie) went HARD on how bad Bernie and “BernieBros” were while they stanned for Hillary.

I agree military worship in America is ridiculous, but if we’re talking about candidate qualifications, I’d say it’s very fair to give Pete a check in the “pro” column for his military service.

We have a literal reality TV star who held no political office before in the white house, and you’re saying Pete isn’t a serious candidate because he’s the mayor of a small town? Really?

Jezebel’s writers have made it pretty clear if you don’t prefer Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris then you’re pretty much a terrible person supporting a terrible candidate.
