@PilgrimSoul: I repeat what I said yesterday about this site sometimes promoting the very opinions it hopes to eradicate.

@morninggloria: I just got back from a long meeting and am buried in work. This cracked me up. So thank you!

@Archetype: If I lived alone my tree would be covered in those. And fluffy pink garland. I am such a cliche.

@hortense: In normal cities this works, but I have been waiting a month for the books I ordered from my local NYPL branch to be available for pickup. By the time they arrive the books will be in paperback and I'll have broken down and bought them.

"I thought she was part of the citizenship exam by now."

@J.D.Regent: "Her personality, her character — vindictive, given to excessive secrecy, bullheaded, less than concerned with facts, prizing loyalty over good sense — should remind us of our current president."

@SarahMC: I agree, obviously, but I think eliminating it could be effective. If people don't hear the female pronoun in conjunction with criticisms of Palin, maybe they'll stop associating said criticisms with sexism and start recognizing them as what they are — criticisms of her policies and positions on issues.

@TakeADeepBreath: I have no idea what your rape victim argument has to do with your Sarah Palin argument.

@STICKSnSCONES: I love this site but sometimes I feel like it ends up promoting the very attitudes it's trying to eliminate.

Boone's Farm

@funnyface: 'I thought polls showed that it's mostly WHITE MEN flocking to her?" Yes, this is what I keep reading.

@ronaldpagan: I was wondering if it was going to turn out to be a story on guys on the down low.

@funnyface: I think that's how it was intended — but the resulting message is that you CAN judge a book by its cover.

@andBegorrah: You are amazing and this is beautifully put.

I don't know how I never realized this before (maybe because I haven't seen it in so long), but Cinderella is really offensive in its treatment of people who aren't physically attractive. The nice woman, Cinderella, is gorgeous, while the two ugly-on-the-inside stepsisters are also physically ugly? What a great

I love Maggie Rizer. Back when I was obsessed with fashion, she was my favorite model. I met her a few years ago in the bathroom of a sports bar (she was/ possibly still is dating a guy I know from college) and totally freaked out... even though I am not the type of person who gets excited about celebs. I mean, I used

I'm sorry; I cannot get behind that fabric Cat Deeley is draped in. It's hideous.

@scullymurphy: I think she is one of the most beautiful (and talented) actresses out there. I wish she were involved with more projects. She is great on The L Word.

I love dress #2. A lot. That's my pic.
