I know I'm in the minority, but the few times I've seen WNTW, I've HATED the clothing Stacy and Clinton picked out for the makeover subject. My favorite makeover show is "How Do I Look?" on the Style Network. I always love how they style host Finola Hughes, and the person getting a makeover always looks AWESOME…

So excited to see an interview with Margaret Cho on Jez! I recently watched her special Assassin, which just made me love her even more. I didn't know about her reality show and will be setting my DVR as soon as I get home tonight.

@fishlikesequins: I make my next hair appointment as I'm leaving the salon — it's the only way I remember to come back. My hair grows out more nicely when I at least have the ends dusted every 10 weeks.

I'm pretty much a self-groomer anyway. The only thing I spend money on is my hair — $104 every 10 weeks (plus tip). I did get a pedicure earlier in the summer but it's such a waste of money given that I have tons of foot creams and bottles of polish at home.

Something about those shoes makes me think of a little girl playing dress-up in Mommy's closet. They just look... wrong.

@vulvateen: It;s not her politics we are disagreeing with; it's her approach to relationships. She wrote a book telling women to act like cookie-cutter morons to ensnare a man; her divorce is indicative of the fact that this approach doesn't work.
