2003/4 Vibe/Matrix/Corolla C59 5-speed manual transmission. The bearings one it keep failing, making the C59 more expensive than the 6-speed C60 transmission (which bolts right up to the 1zz motor). What makes this terrible, is that if they were considering the manual, the common failures would've pushed them to the

In the Vibe/Matrix/Corolla/XB without variable speed wipers, all you need is a wiper stalk with the variable speeds, and it'll work. Maybe it'll work in your Tacoma.

But... that won't work in a Hollywood style car chase through Manhatten!

"Ray Wert caught 'dragoning' the President's limo, millions not surprised"

I wonder if you could place the results on a spectrum, showing what extremist liberals drive, conservative liberals drive, independants drive, liberal conservatives drive, and what extremist conservatives drive.

I can haz Saab? Please? You're not doing anything with them. I'll only take one.

Same year as Conan's

If you're like me, and, let's face it, you are, then you will be saddened by the fact that I recently saw a green Ford Taurus SHO abandoned on the side of 35W the other day.

Props, man. My dad is a big, strong Mexican man who is always judged, no matter what, when the fact is that he has a very high-ranking role in Best Buy and who gets a pretty penny from them. Any salesperson will just give up a sale based on what the guy looks like, when in reality it could be a surefire sale.

I already do. I told somebody at the local auto show that it was supposed to be a four seater, and he just laughed. That's Toyota trying to get in on some of Smart's cash. It's going to be a bit of a failure. It panders to segment that doesn't exist in America, and an optioned-up Chevy Sonic gets better mileage for

As a teenage owner of both a smartphone and a car, I can say that I like the car a helluva lot more than the phone. The phone makes me very very angry because of it not working. The car doesn't ever make me angry (even if the swaybar linkage we took off today needed to be cut off). I get way more joy from my

Something rear wheel drive or manual (esp. when you have an auto FWD). Immediate points gain.

I think Hummer already tried that

For the gas tank, it could be easier to access than you think. On my car you just need to unbolt the rear seats from the floor (two bolts) and they'll fold up, allowing you access to the fuel pump, and thus, the fual tank!

Better idea: disable the engine on the Chevy Volt, do this to all four cylinders, and throw in a few more batteries. They wouldn't suspect you for wanting a little more range. Or you could just drive a crappy car. But is the first thing you think when you hear a rough engine, "They have to be smuggling something in

If the scent can't escape, there's no chance that the dogs can sniff it.

1. Buy car with more than 4 cylinders

For all saying that the Vibe came in AWD as well, the drawing shows a strictly RWD vehicle. That, and the AWD Vibe/Matrix had independent rear suspension.

Yes, and I actually got my friend into one, but it has independent rear suspension.

According to a diagram in my owners manual, the Pontiac Vibe is apparently a BOF wagon with a V6 or V8, rear wheel drive, a live rear axle and leaf spring suspension with no exhaust, only a tip glued to the rear bumper.
