I was stating that the games which are extremely popular are and/or will be available for both systems.

How is it a shaky argument for games? LEGO City Undercover, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Mighty Switch Force, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Funky Barn, etc are all available for the 3DS...at lower prices.

and the fact that the PS3 is pretty much a dead system with the PS4 coming out this year. Might sell a few consoles to hold outs, but what's the point?

It's pretty much already been stated that MH4 has online play for the 3DS...so there's that. Why would they rework MH3U completely to add a feature for a game that's literally coming out in a couple months in Japan?

Yeah, it really does just look like Frontier. I also noticed that they didn't bother with any of the flagships in the trailer, only low level stuff....

Keep an eye out on places like Amazon (even the Microsoft store online) and you can usually get XBL for like $30-$40 for the year most of the time...

Need 4 Speed is already out...came out a few weeks ago.

For a few decades? lol

You keep changing to different subject matter within each...I know full well what you're talking about. I'm not talking about IP's, I was talking about the industry as a whole.

I agree most of them were great, but you actually proved my point there somewhat. Yes, all of those games had great first showings and in few cases good 2nd and 3rd ones. However, many are just bogged down now. What new things are developers doing with those? Making sequels and prequels or spin off stories with the

1991? Guess the release of the NES and Sega Master System 6-7 years before that don't count? They surely had this same model going on. Exclusives, contracts, pay outs for the rights to games, etc...it all existed then between those to.

Don't have a webcam on your PC? Because last I checked they were always online. How about your phone? Tablet? Wii U gamepad? Yeah...put the tinfoil hat away...

Then get the big budget studios to stop making the same stuff over and over...sadly they haven't really done much innovative in a long while. Sure, there are some exceptions to that but overall...what are the biggest games? COD, BLOPS, Gears of War? Halo? Skyrim? GTA? They're all sequel/prequel hell....

40 years is young? Sure, it's not as old as movies or music...but it's still been around for nearly a half century here...

I hear ya there. We actually waited until the beginning of Feb to get ours...that was mostly since we had thought at the time that Rayman: Legends would be out as well as A:CM...but we know how both of those ended up...

They will, not much to worry there. If a year old port/update of Monster Hunter Tri G can boost sales in the UK 125% and 3x in France? Yeah...I'd say it's about to make a huge turn around.

So much of this.

I think it boils down to Western Devs being lazy...most of the games that have come out lately? Call of Alien Zombie Shooter 47...what has a major studio done that was truly interesting or fresh? Seems even on the 360/PS3 (mostly PS3) the most interesting and enjoyed games are from Japan mostly...

The excuse? Money...what games are Epic known for the most recently? Gears of War...all that MS money skews the view...

I think the problem is that Unreal4 is meant to be scalable...they mentioned that it would even run on phones. So the excuse that the Wii U isn't powerful enough is BS. It basically boils down to Epic (with all their MS money from Gears of War) doesn't like Nintendo...
