Regardless of the issues around the other launches, there are just as many or more Wii U's in the hands of consumers than the last gen. Why is getting ragged so hard? I can understand investors getting upset (like I said in another reply) but I don't get why developers, knowing the numbers are so afraid or say there's

I get the investors being upset due to that. What I don't get is the lambasting that the media and developers have given it.

Yeah, that's a really good point. I think the lack of software really hurt them. Nothing was really that big or "must buy" during Jan/Feb...it's slowly getting better but they need more. It's like the 3DS launch all over again....

So, no one is going to buy a PS4 for all those games that will be coming out?

Um, re-read that. I did include the full 4 month figures for all the systems.

Yeah, games have been a huge problem. I'll definite agree there. Even I waited a while until picking it up. Mostly since Jan and Feb were so barren of games...

I can see that, but it's still not this huge failure and dying thing everyone keeps saying it is.

I'd be curious to see what the weekly sales were for the 360 and PS3 after the initial push. The Wii U sold like crazy at the start and then tapered off...mostly due to no new games Jan/Feb. I wonder how the more steady handed launches of PS3/360 went...

That's you, several millions of others are looking forward to those games...

So, let me guess this straight. It's a failure because it's done better than the 360 and nearly as well as the PS3 (so far)? I don't get this logic at all...

I've logged in 32 hours so far. It's....amazing.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Yeah, that is true...there has been a bigger push of young people using it in Japan, but I wonder how many use the other services more.

Yeah, but the problem is that you can't see what they're doing at all. They're just doing it for you. With someone there in there in the room or a well done video tutorial, they can see the buttons and stick movements....I don't think you can see what the other person is doing with the controller with this, if you

You're not alone. I mean it's kinda cool for a few things but I don't think this move to "social gaming" is really that great...I don't see the big deal of it.

I think the biggest problem is all the Facebook stuff with the social networking. If that's the only option, it could be an issue in Japan (Hell, it could be an issue in the West too). Sure, they're just getting around to it being popular over there but it's still not really used that much compared to local social

I've been holding off on picking this up until Thursday, which I figure will have the 3DS issue fixed with the eShop update that's scheduled.

Well, the lowest card supported is the 8600 GT...so you're close to the bubble...but my guess is you're playing this pretty much on the lowest settings possible across the board.

Or you could just space them out over the course of the year yourself...and likely save quite a bit of money in the process.

Ah, yes. I completely agree there. Though most people who own a Wii or Wii U probably already own a PS360. So they probably didn't miss out on anything.
