Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. I think I may come out of this whole thing with quite a few consultant positions and my own business, so not all bad. It's given me quite a bit of time to really study up on stuff that I didn't have time for before.

Why? Google services (save for Youtube) aren't inundated with ads everywhere. This is just a HUD to access and use a couple things like navigation, voice activated texting/phone/video calls and take pictures.

That's because you have to be active on Google+ where as Facebook is more passive. Google+ is more like Twitter at the start since you have to actively seek people out to get started. Almost none of my friends joined Google+, but I've met a ton of new ones through it.
