I’m all about digital music for the most part but I’ve actually been buying CDs (Also Vinyl and Blu-Ray Audio) here and there for one reason or another. The main reason is because a couple Video Game franchises put out soundtracks that I like so much I’ll gladly spend the money on a physical copy (and I’m kind of a

I haven’t bought a CD from Best Buy in ages...the selection is awful and they stopped fighting (now long closed) mom & pop record stores with loss leader prices.

But I’m still buying plenty of CDs...both for myself and my 8 year-old son. (He’s got nearly 300 CDs...but that doesn’t hold a candle to his old man’s

I rewatched it not long ago, and only then did I realize how good of a noir it is. I’d dare say it’s the best since Chinatown, and a marvelous primer on the genre. If I were teaching a class on noir, I’d use this film to demonstrate the elements of noir. It’s that good.

Those 20th Century Masters Cds for $9.99 weren’t a bad deal.

No, we’re on the same page. I just don’t get the compulsion to make it deeply unpleasant in a one-note way when the thing they were making was smart and funny and played to the strengths of what you had to work with.

Me like Sherlock, but it honestly not bad thing if show take break for few years. Freeman once posited that show could revisit these two characters every few years as they get older and catch them in different stages of life, and me really like that idea. So me do hope they make more. But show crawled too far up own

this show was so much fun in the first few seasons, but boy did it disappear up it’s own ass* in the last few.

Scorpion is.... like a car accident. It’s oddly entrancing. It’s on its.... 4th season, I think. They added Tina Majorino to the cast as recurring and she is way too good for the show.

Scorpion is much better if you imagine it as a Saturday morning cartoon. Because that is what it is, just live action.

I’m totally tired.

So basically he would look just like his character from Burn Notice, but with a mustache.

Lol. As if there will be an actual intro to the new show. At best, there will be a 10 second remix of the original with the show’s title on there.

So true. My dad is the same way... shameless NCIS fan. Mark Harmon brings in the geriatric crowd like no other.

I think it’s better to leave Jaws alone too at this point. Although yeah, please god no, no E.T. or Close Encounters sequel ever. Jaws can survive shitty sequels without retroactively ruining it but I’m not sure the same can be said about those movies.

One of the few intriguing parts of Indy 4 was the mentions of his exploits behind enemy lines during WW2. What does a guy like him do when you put him in a war? Have Harrison Ford do a couple of bookend scenes and the rest of the the movie be another actor starring in the adventures of Colonel Henry Jones, Jr. in the

“No ticket.”

I mean ‘archaeologist’, of course.

You forgot that they also own the Muppets. Actually a Muppet Indiana Jones could work — Kermit could be Indy, Piggy his latest love interest, maybe Sam the Eagle as Marcus Brody? Or would Brody’s Britishness offend Sam’s patriotism?

Having never actually seen Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I remain relatively optimistic about the prospect. Perhaps it is the late 1960s and a newly septuagenarian Indy is obliged to escort a younger architect to Cambodia to retrieve an artifact which is under threat from the new anti-intellectual government. The
