Not really, but it totally works out that way.

They pilot drones remotely, then play volleyball.
That seems fundamentally wrong, but I often have issues with the space time continuum and I'm bad at math, so I believe you. It's hard to watch them young all the time and remember that time has marched on.
Obviously the movie is his last big mission before retirement.
I know you're probably kidding, but I would love an actual "Tailspin" movie. Show us Kit and Molly all grown up, or do something else. At age 6, I thought Kit was the coolest character ever (keep in mind, I was 6.)
My guess is a live action remake, because they did a 3D release a few years ago.
Australia is from "Princess Bride"
I almost listed this too.
That was comment too. Nice to know I'm not alone.
The toga party from "Animal House," or any of the random office parties from "Moonlighting."
I don't think so.
One of my friends and I speculated that the Minions would be involved in Watergate. We had visions of them making shadow-puppets and ignoring their job. We also pictured them in the Democratic Headquarters hitting each other over the head with flashlights.
I love the Minions. The Minions movie felt a feature length Loony Toons cartoon in a good way. It just embraced crazy cartoon logic. There wasn't much of a plot, but I throughly enjoyed the individual sequences/set pieces.
Maybe he needs more money for his next big project.
Probably a good guess. My other theory is that the paycheck is funding some crazy expensive project he really wants to make/produce.
Here's the thing, if he is just doing it for the money, maybe he has a reason. My guess is that he was an amazing project but needs a ton of money to make it happen.
Box Office just measures how many people saw it, not how many people liked it.
Someone in standards and practices at Warner Brothers put a note in the script asking if Nicholas Ray planned for an unscripted on-screen kiss. There's nothing in the script to indicate it, but my guess is that someone observed the actors at work with a different scene and got some sort of vibe.
What's important to note is that Dean knew he was gay/bi, Nicholas Ray was either gay or had excellent gaydar. Mineo didn't realize he was gay until about 10 years after the movie came out. Ray realized Mineo was gay but also not yet aware of his sexuality.
I always hated in "Mean Girls" that Janis is revealed to be straight. I really wish they had kept her sexuality ambiguous.
