As long as there are enough boomers still deemed desirable by companies, CBS will stick with it's strategy. They figured out how to find programing that boomers liked 40 years ago, and they're sticking with that generation until advertisers no longer want to sell to them in primetime.

As the article said they've done Weekend Update Thursday's for the past 3 elections, but it was always a limited run by design. I think it started late summer and then ended after the election or inauguration.

This idea sounds pretty good.

I love this idea. Maybe they get Jon Stewart to come out of retirement for a night.

My first and only time at a drive-in was a triple feature. Bourne Legacy, The Epxendables 2, and The Campaign. It was 2-3 hours away and required an overnight stay at a hotel, but it was an amazing experience.

I know, I just didn't want to look up every actor who played Bond when I wrote my comment. Also, the number of people who had played the character wasn't relevant to my point.

I don't want Milo to be part of the panel, but I would like to see him in the one on one interview segment after the monologue.

She was much better on "The Daily Show."

Thanks for posting this.

Imdb will still be there as a resource (how many episodes of a show was a particular character in, what year was a movie released/TV show start) but the conversation part will be lost.

Roger Moore was way too old to play the part. He was great at Beau Maverick and Simon Templar, so I could see why they thought he would be good for the role, but they got to him far too late.

There's still 2 more movies. Give them time.

You can have in a cameo for like, five minutes. Older fans are happy, and younger fans aren't going to get too upset at a five minute scene.

I agree with everyone you said.

People will still to go look up the information, but the discussion angle will be lost.

It's like breaking when you didn't even realize there was a problem. None of the imdb message boards that I went to had major serious problems with trolls.

I agree. It was really nice to be able to post and not have to worry about someone finding out who you were in real life, or any information that you don't mention in a post. I'm really going to miss the imdb boards.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to check it out.

I saw one of the bathrobes Alan Alda wore on "M*A*S*H" and I wanted it, even though I couldn't afford it and had no idea what I would do with it if I could afford it.

I wouldn't mind a minature WJM Newsroom, Cheers, Central Perk, Arnold's,
