The value cards give you discounts and a chance to access coupons. You (the consumer) are getting something in return. I don't see that happening with this system, based on the article.

I agree with you on both points. If someone can link a credit card to their amazon account, I don't see why they couldn't link the food stamp card to the app. There's no way half the country is on food stamps.
It's back in syndication on Antenna TV.
Alec Baldwin is a pretty big star. How is going to balence a career and a regular gig on SNL?
Someone on his team needs to create a non-existant Twitter problem as a reason to take away his phone, or temporarily remove the app and freeze his account.
Last time I checked Chevy Chase was still alive, so I don't see why a Ford movie couldn't happen.
Yes! I love "Ladies Choice." I'm sad they didn't include "The New Girl" in town.
Upvoted for creativity.
Conspiracy theories in America go back as far the 1700s. Kennedy is the start of liberal conspiracy theories. Before the 1960s, conspiracy theories were a conservative phenomenon.
It's on my list of holiday specials to watch. I keep waiting for Disney to take some of their newfound Star Wars money and pay for the licensing rights so we can get the complete special on DVD.
I make sure to listen to that song every year around Christmas time. We sang along to the Muppets' version of "12 Days of Christmas" in elementary school.
"I love you" or "Let's go screw"
James wasn't old money. His father (Harry's grandfather) made a ton of money. The Potters are an old wizarding family, but old wizarding family doesn't translate to large sums of money. Ron's family goes way back in terms of wizarding heritage, but they are not rich.
Harry's grandfather made a ton of money with some sort of hair product. Harry's money is a plot device. The fact that he has money doesn't change who he is as a person. He doesn't become a snobby jerk just because he sees how much is in his bank vault.
I've only seen the first two episodes, so maybe this is explained later. I thought the puff piece was her most recent accomplishment, not the biggest thing she had done since college.
If Rory had been there, it would have been like a good improv team (not that they would have been funny). Rory could have said something and that would set up Lorelai.
The writers have thier own style, and that's going to be the same no matter what platform they are writing for. Sorkin never wrote super steamy sex scenes on "Newsroom," even though that was on HBO. Sorkin isn't interested in writing sex scenes, so he's not going to, even though he could.
That would have been the easy way out-mention something with Rory. However Lorelai was drunk, emotionally exhausted, and not thinking clearly at all.
I've only watched the first two episodes, so maybe this is explained later. Rory was covering the campaign, but that doesn't always translate into a position covering the White House.
I blame it on the fact that she was tired, drunk, and emotionally exhausted.
