I have read every Jacki Collins book ever. I love her style of writing. She's always grammatically correct too which makes the salaciousness a joy.

it's only apt to me in that i can file them both into pompous a-holes i don't particularly like as writers. But Nicky my boy, you are still no Hemingway.

Can't agree more Margaret Cho. it's like they deliberately chose that moment to forget they had a phone.

been on for a couple of days and it's alright but I'm not sure about the long term of it. Add meeee @katitopops though.

seriously. just all of what you said including this.. yes.

yes.. if you ever can't find anything go to Discogs and search it. it's a site where people catalog and sell all types of music., particularly vinyl. Never accept first offer though, my partner is a rare vinyl expert and collects drum breaks, he can always get a bargain.

This is both the rose and thorn in the side for my vinyl beats collecting partner. he dragged me to over 10 op shops last week on the search for a drum break. It's constantly amazing to me what's considered a valuable item in the Oz hip hop scene. Tthe worth of these albums is never precisely what's on the tag.

oh for pity's sake. I worked in child care for years and honestly some parents are ridiculous. of course You can say no but it pays to explain why not (otherwise you will get the inevitable "BUT WHYYYY?".) The can't have it until can you afford to buy it yourself is a good one. Also deflection is an always

You've got two equally important lessons here.
1. Teach your kid proper terminology for things.

I looooove this. I love spoiling things for myself and get really anxious about endings. It doesn't ruin it for me at all. I try to keep it to myself though. and honestly anything' better then the lo-fi Geocities style web design going on The Movie Spoiler site.

lol, caeliac who had an unhealthy love affair with MSG here. Mr Chu, I would actually take a day of gluten poisoning as long as it's so good I can't deny it. I'll take the back pain, the joint pain, the cramps etc if just to taste the sweet MSG filled goodness. I CAN'T LIE!

dunno if the US getss them but Electrolux bagless vacs but they are the shit (next to Dyson).. mum's lastest foreverrrrr and only just replaced end of last year with a newer model.

seriously, everybody's worst fears are being confirm. WE have G20 as well, we can't even put garbage in a bin without it being a terror issue.

I feel like he's barely a sock designer. Has anyone actually bought his socks? seen his socks in the wild? I thought that was part of his breakdown too. He was so depressed about his weight he couldn't focus on the socks, the socks were failing, so he got further depressed. poor Rob and a his socks :-(

me too. I'm the queen of tabs because I go through the stories methodically from earliest to latest. It's bordering on mental illness. MUST BE INFORMED. I also do it on Hairpin/Awl. I would do it with Facebook but it does not let me see early stuff first, curse you again, Facebook.

I would like to say otherwise but NOoooo. I do know plenty of fellow Australians who aren't absolutely ridiculous but there's a strong racist underbelly here. Add to that they upped the terror alert for no goddamn reason and everyone's gone bonkers.

It's in the air. the minute they upped the freakin terror alert, racists are having the time of their lives. I'm so glad I know so many people here who understand that not all muslims aspire to extremism.. and I live in Brisbane. :-P~

Can't agree more! They tried to infect this country too and we rallied. Now it's only available in 7-11's. Half victory there.

Totally thought that too.. seriously.. that would have been wayyyyy better.

oh I know! The only remotely heartwarming moment I've seen so far is the kid that came out to his friend's and family. They were so easy about it, if only that could be a universal experience.
