McConnell is threatening that if it fails they will have to craft a centrist coalition bill with the Democrats just to keep the health system from collapsing. The article doesn't explain it fully, but one problem is that the reconciliation rules don't last forever: they are tied to the current budget. They will soon

Yeah, maybe wetter than the surrounding area, further from a rail line, main highway, whatever mattered 60 years ago or 30 years ago. But there is a ton of cheap, open land in Florida still. Lots of stuff platted out and not built during previous booms. Now Orange Blossom Estates (wording!) in Avocado Park (more

Well you haven't thought about Mt. Rushmore then, have you?

Maybe it's just a disclosure the reporter read in the last sale document. I'd like to see evidence it's stopped anyone from building. On an adjacent street they were building single family houses right up to the 2008 crash (Alan Street).

Or she wanted to get rid of it because of the divorce and for some reason he agreed to take it. I bet he either met her at his club or at her business though!

The zoning/environmental restrictions sound speculative. I doubt that's the problem. It's just edge land, there's a lot of that in Florida. And natural resources? That's a joke, the only question is if you can tow your popup there and fish in the winter.

The story seems to have broken in the local newspaper in January. If anyone has a subscription, tell us what it says! http://yoursun.com/sunnews/…

It actually is a suburban lot. The cul-de-sac style planned streets are mapped out on Google Maps and the interactive county tax map linked in the Guardian article (but not in Bing Maps). It's one block from similar but actually built streets, though they are unpaved. Some have houses. Lady in the big house across the

Or part of Louisiana.

The Panhandle had built up a lot since the last time I was there, seemed like typical suburban stroads* with added flat slab beach towers. Whataburger was like a bovine Chick-fil-A, got the friendly Stepford vibe, and delicious. Beaches were free and had showers, changing rooms, etc. So the bad was hidden, I'm sure

Weird thing I found about Florida was that it was cheap, even compared to neighboring states.

Every one of those places has good peeps! I challenge you to find many places that vote 95% rightwing Republican. It's usually 70%.

What do ya got against the Eastern Mitten?

If you look carefully at the bill, he did underpay it by $2.91. Maybe there was some kind of prepay discount, or it's paid out of an automatic account and they let that part slide for a few years. Or the $5 fee didn't apply and he overpaid, etc… IANAFREA (I am not a Florida real estate attorney)

You didn't catch the part about lingerie photography?

One's a cohesive action show, one's a split lawyer / organized crime show. Saul is very good, but not an obvious crowd pleaser. Guess they have Walking Dead for that. Be like Carl!

The questionable sprouts will also be on the pizza.

I skipped season 4 but this season 5 seems good. They may be going into intense one-character study episodes a la Orange is the New Black*, complete with flashback structure. Or at least, that's how the third and latest and best of this season went. The first two were not like that but pretty sharp.

Is the whole thing like the season two opener?

Also Ari Gold doesn't look like Amanda Crew much.
