Yeah, it’s very interesting that people don’t agree with a crazy murderer in a work of fiction whose name is literally “kill monger”. Absolutely fascinating.

You do realize you slung the exact same thing (using wealth/lack as an insult and measure of a man) right back at him, right? I mean, if you were going to write your 2nd paragraph, you could have just left out the first one.

“Killmonger’s motives were questionable? Uh, he wanted Black folks around the diaspora to be free. What’s the question?”

Im sure his dough faced, greasy headed, American Psycho looking kids have the answers.

So even with the “kill their oppressors and their children” line you still think he was right? His ideals weren’t wrong but his methods, sending out high tech weapons for the purpose of killing people, where crazy. I mean come on. His solution was kill people and their children! Why are you agreeing with that?

First off read the article son and see why I referenced the elevator part. Second, I know my history, the analogy was made to show that the perception of speaking out of turn to white women be it real or imagined can get you killed. Now sit your fake ass down and be quiet while grown folks talk.

Not to sure about barking at the white women on the elevator. For real that is how Emmitt Till got it. Nothing raises the hair on a white man’s neck more than a black man berating his pancaked ass, pumpkin spice imbibing, This Is Us binge watching, Fergie screeching woman pretending to be in distress. I am for

M’Baku and the Jabari Tribe are Alphas:

Better not tell them that Ms. Marvel is a Muslim woman. Or, that Captain America has been several black women (Danielle Cage!), a Latina female and a man who is Japanese, Black, Native-American and Latino.

Tell me about it. :(

I’m giving you a star because I love you.

Seriously. Ferrari claimed that nobody was buying manual trans equipped cars when they were offered (although several customers claim their manual orders were refused) but if Ferrari offered a manual version of any model AND claimed it to be a “special edition”, complete with racy graphics and fancy name, the Tifosi

The same reason there’s always someone like you, remarking on free speech.

Sisko is such a better character, too! An embittered widower, burned out on starfleet and all of its ideals, gets transferred to the ass end of nowhere with his tween son. His first officer is a terrorist, his station is a trash pile, and his kid makes best friend with the local delinquent. Then he is forced to relive

I’m glad they’re both ok, and shocked after reading this. Gavin seems like a good person (and damn funny, especially when he fucks up at playing video games) so the thought of something happening to him or someone he cares about is horrific.

I’m not gonna add anything here, except to say that when I’m scrolling through comments and I see your handle on one, I almost always take the time to read it. Well thought out and even handed, well done. Sometimes I think I too will attempt this, but I always end up feeling like I’m yelling into the wind. Good on you

Preface: I’m going to be getting into the state of mental health care and awareness in the US in this post; no part of what I say below is intended to remove blame from Mr. Giles, or to say that he is somehow innocent. I’m focusing on a larger concern that is illustrated by this article, rather than trying to address

Sorry, this is America, a wretched, failing empire. Healthcare, here, is a privilage not a right, so... mental health care is only for the wealthy. Gun ownership is the basis of True ‘Merican Culture, and no amount of sanity will ever change that.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep. Like my grandma did.

<small voice; looking away> Because it’s the only thing I can hate him for, okay?
