Some sort of differential metal corrosion? Hypothetically if the wiper is made from say aluminum and steel, if they are in contact or in an electrolytic solution there is ion flow between the two causing corrosion. Maybe there was a gasket separating parts before but it has worn out allowing parts be in contact that

So I name my vehicles with stupid plays on words based on pop singers. Right now I have an F250 Called Lita Ford, and a Jeep Wrangler called Adel (b/c rollin in the Jeep). Following this convention, I would feel compelled to name this car “Saabba”.

I suppose we can take the fact they never did COTD yesterday as further evidence that there is, in fact, no justice...

I’m the same way, I was trying to shame the guy who gave it up and guilt David Tracy into buying it!

Dawn French may be the Vicar of Dibley, but this dude is The Vicar of Scribley!

Jeep: “I’m sure he is coming back to rescue me soon, but I hope he hurries, this snow is getting deep”
.
3 months later: “He must have gotten stuck himself, it’s ok, Ill be strong, conserve my battery, and do my best to hold up all this weight”
.
6 months later: “He came back! I hollered as loud as I could and he heard

In Canada we have a generic supermarket brand called Presidents Choice, or PC for short. If Rich Energy goes under, there might be an opportunity here for Overwaitea Foods to buy up the remaining stock and market it under a new brand “PC Attitude”

Officers on scene were unable to determine if the driver was sober, as he refused to speak, exited the vehicle, stood stock still for a second, then fell over. His injuries consisted of a large swelling on the top of his head, and a number of asterisks orbiting his head. Upon inspection of the vehicle, deputies noted

Results are hilarious? Wheel have to see about that!

I wonder wattle happen if they don’t sell well!

Oh I’m sure the turkeys will gobble it up!

Pretty sure in a court of law, minor car repairs refers only to cars that are below the age of majority...

Meanwhile on Jalopnik we are trying to solve NP vs CP every day!

Bought a new BMW, but there’s these things sticking out from the steering wheel shaft, look kind of like sticks, and one of them seems to turn on blinking lights at the front and rear on either side of the vehicle.  No idea what it is for, don’t use it.

Wife: No more buying race car parts! Use what we already own
Me: I somehow feel this is going to make you more angry... Sigh...”Gets tool box, and heads to the basement”

This is Canadian Tire we’re talking about here, they are not exactly known as a paragon of automotive excellence. Once they accused me of shoplifting a rusty bolt I had brought in for comparison!  I was held in the little security office until the cops showed up and were suitably unimpressed with the security guard’s

Counterpoint: For guys like me, who haven’t seen clear coat on anything they own in a decade, washing cars is only good if you are planning to work on them. Otherwise in my opinion, its just a waste of time and water. Maybe one day I’ll get fancy and buy a vehicle worth washing, but I don’t see that happening before

Neutral: Robots came for my job, but they couldn’t get along.  I’m a Professional Forester, and I used to do actual work, but now I spend most of my time sorting out fights between databases. I’m pretty much HR for computer programs.

I agree completely! Cool trucks can be cute, ugly, strange, you name it. I love my FJ45 and think it is cuter than anyone’s children, and I am not alone, in fact the other day, I was waiting in it, a lady walked by and exclaimed “aww its so cute”, made my day!

Toyota’s next Land Cruiser may drop the V8, however, my next Land Cruiser will still either have the I6 gas or if I’m lucky, the I4 diesel!
