I passed a 6x6 motor home on the highway yesterday and idly wondered how my FJ45 would look as a 6x6, now I know! Also, am I the only one who is quite put off by those wheels? Yeuch!

COTD Backwards is Driver Takes Own Car then?
Probably got permission for the "comparison" after a One:1 discussion with the track officials...
Bought a 1977 Toyota FJ45 sight unseen, breaks didn’t work, motor wouldn’t fire, clutch wasn’t functional. Replaced clutch mc and sc, break mc and sc’s, bled everything, and started work on the motor. There was a timing problem with the motor, which became immediately apparent, but I managed to get the motor running…
I liked the working title “Three petulant old men falling down for about an hour”
Alt:
-Zippy George and Bungle
-The Great British Car show

Aww! True glove lasts forever!
Regarding autocorrect; Turn that darn thing off, reading peoples typo’s tells you a lot about who they are, how they type and what kind of standards they have. Also I don’t know why, but whenever I see a typo in an email or text, I involuntarily peek at my keyboard to see how far apart the letters are. Some mistakes…
$38.46 plus the value of the fuel in the tank. I once bought a donor truck for the value of the diesel in the tank.
I once sold a truck I loved, and 6 years later it is one of my biggest regrets. Now I have a policy of: I don’t sell my friends and my vehicles are my friends, so I never sell any vehicles. Machines offer enormous benefits over human relationships, they can be endlessly repaired, they don’t have unsolvable problems,…
5th Gear: I would propose abandoned Australian mines; far from prying eyes, steep grades, hard corners, challenging operating conditions, wildlife everywhere to avoid etc. Also an abundant supply of solar power. Once the engineers were really sure the system worked, maybe set it loose in an active mine and see how it…
The universe is very cruel to some people...
I have one of these, I will have to try this once it stops snowing! I did it with my FJ40 and it was the best thing ever in the summer!
I have a forestry degree and make a great income. We need Professional Foresters here in BC to fill the huge gap created by the older generation retiring. A forestry degree is an extremely valuable and useful degree more akin to an engineering degree than an arts degree.
COTY?
That car is insane, literally! Look at it, running around the track eating its shoes!
Took my 1981 Land Cruiser to an import diesel shop because of a minor electrical problem. After looking at it, they told me I needed new injectors, and I didn't know any better, so sure. $1100 later and some new injectors, the truck ran like hell, apparently new injectors were installed incorrectly, when I took it…
