Well after they lost Fernandez what were they supposed to do, keep their young core of future MVP’s and perennial all-stars while trying to find pitching via trades and free agency like a bunch of morons?

Spoiler alert: he is not.

The US government doesn’t really have limited resources. We can call out the hypocrisy of Trump’s priorities, but let’s not pretend that giving a few million dollars to the French to restore a landmark has any impact on the ongoing crisis in Flint or Puerto Rico.

No one died or was injured in the Louisiana churches that burned down, I would still consider those fires a tragedy.

I appreciate pointing out the hypocrisy at play here, but this is a flavor of hot take I’m really fucking tired of. Can a tragedy just be a tragedy? Do we always have to justify our emotional responses to stuff like this by comparing it to other tragedies or excuse it by giving some explicit personal or familial

I knew a guy once. He lost his Lord of the Family status in a best-of-three NBA Jam TE series.

Now his son writes him in as a dependent on his taxes. Boomshakalaka.

My ex in-laws fonted my case all the time :)

I appreciate this take, but scripture is paradoxical in that its universality is found in its specificity. Christ also praised Mary Magdalene for her gesture of using expensive oil to anoint his feet. That is, it’s not a waste of money or an example of hoarding treasure to honor the eternal.

There’s a lot of inequality and cruelty in the world and our planet is being destroyed but nothing makes me madder than when I think about the ending of Lost.

I’m not suggesting that it’s always ok. In fact, I would argue it usually isn’t. But in this case. THIS CASE. She isn’t trying to be offensive, and going after her like she is just because people want to be pissed about blackface is wrong.

Yeah, the poor guy, having to face the consequences of his actions like that.

No shit, everyone’s acting like he overcame cancer! More like “self-inflicted arrogant asshole finally wins another game a decade later

I’ll see your Star Trek: TNG and raise you the finale of Babylon 5.

Babylon 5's “Sleeping in Light”*

*The original for-real finale, which they wound up using a season later than planned when they found out they weren’t getting cancelled just yet.

Game developers getting 18% more of your money is a huge benefit to the customer: The game developer can invest more in the games you love, and has less incentive to depend on trashy DLC models.

Bledsoe caught the ball, he should not have been removed from the game.

He’s not fitting precisely into my definition of a feminist, so he should be mocked for getting it right. That will encourage others to join in the fight!

What the heck is obnoxious about what Auriemma said? Seems like a great response to the situation.

Animation feature artists on Twitter? Maybe. Animation television artists on Twitter? Definitely not for kids. Instagram is your best bet for wholesome, behind-the-scenes, kid-friendly content from the animation artist community.
