One of the worst things about moving away from South Bend was the loss of Martin’s donuts. :( Still have not found an acceptable replacement.
I’m with you there.
Truthfully though, there was good reason to put faith in that team when it started up. And the single-player campaign does look great! Just...you know...a year away. Like always.
*laughs in Unsung Story and Star Citizen*
Yeah I wasn’t fighting you on it. Just elaborating on the part of it I enjoyed, that he also goes well out of his way to give you the chance to ascribe nearly everything to science, and vice versa, if you like.
Almost everything in MGS is either grounded in advanced versions of real-world technology, or supernatural powers that in many times are purposefully left just uncertain enough so that the player never knows if they were technology-driven or not. There is clearly a current of the supernatural under the surface, but…
There’s plenty to love about Ultimate, and I do love it, but my struggles with it are that it’s still much slower than Melee, player advantage states are still incredibly small, and stocks still last too long on average by comparison. Pretty crazy to play them back to back and then realize that Wii U was STILL SLOWER…
I’ve always been a hardcore tournament player, and I still wish that there was more freedom for ruleset experiment in the pro scene. Nothing wrong with having a standard that most tournaments adhere to, but there shouldn’t be so much vitriol over some tournaments that stray from that model either.
There is a HUGE difference between Hitboxes in Street Fighter and in Smash. Smash is played with analog control and mapping the analog stick to digital fundamentally alters what you are capable of, to the point where I was playing one of the big proponents of one online unwittingly and was super-surprised at how he…
I’m never far away.
Fantastic article as usual, Cecilia. Having been active in this space a long time, I’d certainly agree that while the premium properties were in a bubble from the announcement of Overwatch League, there are still a lot of “secondary” esports where the market is still dramatically undervalued. It’s a little stunning to…
This one isn’t as bad because no bad choices were made. Here it’s all bad choices.
Yeah, why is this even getting covered? These are people that should be ignored, especially only 16k people. That’s nothing!
Heck yeah Matlab.
I was a Summoners War player for three years! Finally sold off my account. Every now and again I miss it but the account just got too big to feasibly manage, literally had too much good stuff and I wasn’t looking to make it my life haha.
Funny you just posted now, my friend just finished the game and so I finally had a spoiler-ful conversation about all the shortcomings. It’s so easy in a post-Endgame world to see how much better they could’ve done resolving all their spiraling plots. It’s just so...messy. They ripped open closed plots and introduced…
I saw this on the front page and thought “I feel like I’ve seen this article a few times before.” I’m sad that it is still necessary.
I mean, he actually does resemble THIS Sonic.
Points for understanding Sonic Twitter. My immediate response to the trailer was to cry on his behalf that he’d have to tweet about the movie at all.
