The reason I didn’t pay for FSD, besides it being stupidly priced, is because Autopilot doesn’t work flawlessly. Since the software, AI, cameras and sensors are the same for AP, it gives a good idea of how we could expect FSD to work. It’s the best system on the market, but it’s still not good enough.

Yes, and he’s right. The statute is design to punish worse dealers who go “Oh, we changed your oil and replaced your fuel filter,” but didn’t DO that. It is not designed to punish ordinary negligence in “oh, we changed your oil, but did it poorly.” One represents a fraud on the customer, the other is just negligent.

And in this case the court was right. There was nothing unfair or deceptive about forgetting to tighten the lug nuts, what was just negligence. In this case the mechanic *did* actually rotate the tires, he just did a shitty job at it.

Terrible people, like dealers, use misogyny as a multiplier for terribleness.

I am so glad that I read your comment today (I’m an older Millenial attorney who also graduated at the height of the Great Recession’s fallout). I’m in the early stages of exploring new opportunities and getting used to thinking about my career path as a “story” I want/need to tell in interviews and also to myself, to

Your point is excellent and the article does nothing to address it. The increased vehicle traffic doesn’t just magically appear - these cars somehow come from somewhere, and are going someplace, for a reason. Are there more places to go? People living farther out? Reduced vehicles on surface roads?

Whole house fans are rarely installed any more, but can make a huge difference in summer energy usage. I live in a brick house and wish I had a whole house fan. Even if it drops below 70 at night, the energy stored in the bricks from the sun beating on them all day cooks our house like an oven! Even with window fans

I concur on the humidity aspect. 110 at 40% humidity is a completely different experience than 80 degrees at 80% humidity. Moving the air via fans is great for the former, and almost useless with the latter.

Fully agreed on the air movement. I have central air in my house except for in my bedroom where there is no vent for some godforsaken reason, but at least there’s a ceiling fan, and that keeps me from basically pitching a tent in my backyard all summer.

They did work together to simplify the regulations. California and the 12 states that follow California, along with 13 automakers, were in on the Obama agreement to increase fuel efficiency and emissions standards. That was working together to simplify the regulations.

Totally - why bother trying to stop any air pollution unless you stop every single instance of it at once?

What does this have to do with simplifying regulations? Everything was going according to plan before Trump decided to get involved. His people are the reason things are so complicated all of a sudden.

If I spend the effort finding an article, would that get you to admit you're wrong, or would I just be wasting my time?

I disagree

I lived in a rental house that had a whole house fan & I loved it. Even w the temperature & humidity as hot as it gets in lower AL, it really helped. The central AC in that house wasn’t very good. It creates such a vacuum to suck the air throughout the house up & out through the attic, it took a little getting use to

Driver was also traveling 13 mph over the speed limit. Speeding and a dangerous turn on a rural highway; that’s just a bad situation.

I just looked this up because I buy lactose-free dairy products for low carb reasons, and what I’m finding is that heavy cream has almost no sugar (which I knew because that’s why I buy it), so it has almost no lactose (milk sugar).

I have tried dosing my lactose-intolerant boyfriend with lactaid, etc...and that’s not how it works (at least not for him).

In each incident, the can had been placed on a shelf, counter, or cart near an oven or stove.

I think it depends a lot on how the fish was handled prior to you cooking it (if it was frozen it’ll be safer), and the ones you’re naming off are larger fish. Usually your larger fish, especially if it’s a thick cut, I’ll cook to be somewhat underdone in the middle. Tuna I’ll cook like a medium-rare beef steak if I
