Would you be charged with assault or harassment if one were to jovially squirt her with a water gun (or spray bottle) or repeatedly fart in her direction...I mean she’s apparently chained herself to the door. I love cheap thrills.

GM better get its act together because they are falling into the same trap that Nissan finds itself in. That is they seem to spend a lot of talent/R&D/focus on their high performance cars and trucks (GT-R, Corvette, Titan, & Silverado) while completely neglecting their lower-tiered cars that most folks would avoid

I was thinking the same, but folks probably don’t want to pay the associated higher costs from hydroponic farming compared to conventional agribusiness. Perhaps it could work since hydroponic farming could be done virtually anywhere...especially in non-drought stricken states.

Try an international or ethnic grocer, they are usually 5-20 bunches for $1. I’m sure you have a Superior, Northgate, H-Mart, or even Sprouts in your area. You can also grow you own. Just keep a little water at the base of a repurposed food container and cut the tops of the scallion greens. You’ll be amazed at how

Not a bad price at all and if you have a 50 mile commute to work the car can pay for itself in about 5 years. My wife and I bought a 24K mile used 2013 Fiat 500e about 20 months ago for $7,300 out the door. She drives it 55 miles from Newport Beach to Century City a few times a week and we use it for an errand car for

I’d say it depends on the tire.  My brother in-law uses winter tires for his rally race setup on his WRX and I’ve driven his car through the hills of Napa Valley during the spring time.  I was surprised by the grip and braking abilities of his Nokian tires, but he said they wear out pretty fast.  Still, winter tires

I’ve got my own system that seems to work for my house.  We run the dishwasher once a week when it’s full.  It takes 83 minutes to run a regular cycle.  We also have a very old tankless water heater, so it can take about 2-3 gallons of water to purge before you get hot water from the faucet.  The dishwasher and

One more reason to never pay a deposit on a car that is yet to exist.  Damn it, I’ll pay for it in full when the title and keys are in my hand.

The coolant reservoir tank looks like it was from a MK4 VW Golf/Jetta/Bettle/TT.

I have hope that Bezos will do good things with his money before and/or after he dies. I’m not sure I would be so quick to sign the Giving Pledge just yet, he has until his death to take the pledge...it’s not like there’s any other time constraint.

I’m still mulling over purchasing a used 8cyl manual R8.  I feel like I might have missed the bottom two years ago when you had your pick of great conditioned R8s for $56K.  It seems like $65K-$70K is the market price now.

I’d love to see a sales volume chart from 1998 to current year.  Some cars are fads and saturate the demand over the years resulting in fewer new car sales.  Just look a the Nissan Z and Honda S2000 sales numbers.  It seems like Mazda has bucked the trend with the Miata.

I strongly considered buying a used 2nd gen RAV4 EV two years ago. It’s essentially a poorman’s Tesla powertrain, but I was concerned about repair costs. I decided to throw $7,300 on an off-lease Fiat 500e and have saved $3K in fuel costs over the 30K miles/18 months that we’ve had it.

Excellent counterpoint! I think VAG is just sandbagging and making up excuses for being so far behind. VW only did one thing well and that was diesel technology (before the high pressure fuel pump/commonrail), and it turns out that they systematically cheated...in Lance Armstrong proportions!

I recently switched to iOS 11.4.1 and it’s not as smooth as the previous system. I generally wait a few months to read about the pros and cons of each updated before following through.  I learned that not all updates are what you want...from iOS 4.3   Sometimes you better off waiting for Apple and the population of

I’m still rocking the iPhone 5s and it suits me just fine.  I might start driving for rideshare services/Turo as a side-hustle and would consider getting a larger/faster/newer iPhone at that point.  As for now, I just use my phone for email and RSS fead browsing, text messaging, stock trading, and games.  I don’t

Having never driven a 7-speed manual, I question is it really necessary? Is that advantage of having one extra gear outweighed against a cramped shift-gate? I just wonder if the car would be better suited to have a closer ratio between gears 1-4 and with relatively taller ratios between 4, 5, 6th gears.

I don’t like this one bit. Just force people to buy a non-markedup bottle of water on the side of the security check. Couldn’t you feasibly encapsulate explosive liquids around frozen water? If I were trying to sneak explosive materials, I’d either make it in a non-water soluble membrane and freeze cloudy water

I don’t have much confidence in the Italian legal process. Just watch any of the many Amanda Knox documentaries.  I’m glad the American legal system has nothing to do with Italy’s.

or at least slow the hell down...
