A little splash over some sorbet with fresh berries is pretty good too...but so is sake.

Fascinating. Our 2013 Fiat 500e headlight switch has an on/off only switch; however, each flick of the high-beam (when the car is off) will set a timer for the headlights to stay on for 30-second increments. ie 4 flicks will get you 2 minutes of light.
I think you gain a parking light (and front/rear fog lamp) toggling if you swap out the US switch with the Euro switch.
My dad wanted this to be the cars all his kids would drive since they were slow and built like tanks. It’s really hard to get yourself in trouble with such a car when you’re young, dumb, and inexperienced.
1989 Mazda 626 5-speed manual driving at the beginning of rush hour congestion in downtown Costa Mesa, Ca. I stalled for the first time in my life 2 years after getting my license...I felt so stupid at that moment. As for the Mazda, it had torquey gear ratios with a generally weak motor but the friction point, pedal…
One simple and healthy way to dress up a hardboiled egg (or any boiled egg) is to add some salsa. You get tomatoes, onions, peppers, & cilantro added for your nutrition...just watch out for sodium if the salsa is too salty.
Good idea. I have an old Google Chromecast on our even older TV in the bedroom (11 year old Samsung 32" LCD). I think my sister-in-law has a bunch of these lying around her place. Apparently they were very popular gifts and I think she recently upgraded to the 4K versions.
I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a new LG OLED TV. There were several deals at my local Fry’s from $999 for an open box to $1299 for the current 55" with a soundbar. I decided to wait for OLED and/or 8K to be the new standard. In the meantime I think my current LG will hold up (minus the Smart…
I’ve all but given up with my Smart TV. It’s a 2012 LG 47LM7600. The picture quality is nice and the design is beautiful, but the Smart features seemed to have expired. A lot of the apps have been removed (probably due to licensing or competition) and so I we just use the TV as we do with every other non-Smart TV.
I couldn’t justifying paying up for this. It appears to be incrementally better, but at quite the premium to a WRX. I can see myself having just as much fun with the lesser variant with an extra $20K in my wallet. Clearly I’m biased with a personal finance leaning.
At this point, I’m a strong believer in the placebo effect and as long as something brings me some relief when I’m feeling my worst, and it won’t harm me, I’ll gravitate towards using it. So I’m not so quick to dismissive homeopathic or homegrown remedies. I took 4 years of biology and have a good idea of what works…
I strongly considered getting a used 2nd gen RAV4 EV about a year ago. They were going for around $18K-$30K and were dubbed as the “poorman’s Tesla.” The fear of needing service and the expensive Tesla powertrain components kept me away from going all in. I’ve met 3 different owners who love their RAV4 EVs and…
I think we will have to disagree here. I do not believe LGBT people have a mental disorder. I do believe that some might have mental disorders or social experiences which causes them to gravitate towards such behavior (such as the down community you find related with the prison system), but I think the majority have…
I never realized the debt to income ratio was really a “debt expense” to income ratio. I always assumed debt was the principal of what was owed (outstanding balance), not amortized debt plus interest. This is better for the health of the consumer since it is financially conservative and factors in interest rates. …
Fortunately Westbrook can play better with a perceived chip on his shoulder. Other players may go out and jack-up a bunch of shots and miss. Ever notice all the triple-doubles he put up after Durant left. His performance wasn’t just because Durant wasn’t there to score; it was a mentality that Westbrook adapted to…
Maybe get an off-lease BEV for a huge discount...as long as you have access to get a longer range ICE car when you need one. We added an off-lease 2013 Fiat 500e to our garage. We drive it about 21K miles a year, but still have our 01 VW Golf TDI, 06 GM Duramax, and 07 Lexus Rx400h for times when we need the range…
My wife and I average 21K miles a year in our off-lease 2013 Fiat 500e. It had just enough to get my wife 50 miles to work with the AC on during the summer and we will look into a replacement with more range when the battery degradation becomes an issue. We level 2 charge the Fiat to full at least twice a day and so…
not really. gender and sex are not the same thing.
Gender? I think Maiysha was referring to The Rock as being biologically a man. You’re the one who assumed gender by saying “his.”
