Sure it does. It has a coherent aesthetic and design that looks great in motion, especially with SSAO enabled, essentially rendering the game in 4K or higher. Perhaps you shouldn’t judge the look of the game from poor screenshots of a user-made mod that doesn’t even render the character assets at their maximum quality?

That’s all well and good, but it’s still just slapping new, albeit much better-looking, textures on the same low-polygon count. There’s only so much you can do without completely revamping the models from the ground up to allow for more polys, which would be a massive headache.

Yeah, it’s a damn shame that they haven’t updated graphics since 2003, let alone between the last two expansions.

Erm, the game just had a radical graphics refresh with Warlords, every race received new player models and whatnot... And the engine/world has had graphics overhauls in prior expansions. I don’t think you remember what vanilla WoW looked like.

Half-life and Hotline Miami have something in common. They both won’t get that 3rd entry.
