Except piracy in many cases precedes homebrew, like I detailed in my previous comment. I already have a preorder on a modchip for my Wii U.

I had a modchip in my Wii 2 months after release. Homebrew didn't even happen yet.

If they release the system-level crap and don't disclose any of the game-specific data they've reverse engineered, it'll be fine for now.

They really need to just release the internals of their kernel level exploit so we can finally get the homebrew scene going. And dump drive keys.
