Thank God Peter Jackson won't be able to ruin the Silmarillion like he has the Hobbit. The Lord of The Rings movies were pretty good, but the Hobbit is ridiculous - painting Elves like some crazy warmongering race and in general just changing a beloved children's book into something it's not.
