Agreed.
Agreed.
Yea, the Mr. Rogers documentary was really good. I know the first thing I thought was ‘Pedophile!’ when I thought of Fred Rogers. Turns out he was just a really, really nice guy who really loved children in a wholesome, family sort of way. I’m sure he was the surrogate father for a lot of kids who had a really bad…
Yea. It’s not that he watched the movie over and over. It’s the short time frame involved. I’ll still watch an original Star Trek even though it’s over 50 years old and I’ve seen them all at least 2 dozen times. But I never watched them a dozen times over the span of a couple of weeks.
I didn’t like the first Annabelle movie. It was just a very mediocre movie about a killer doll. It’s been done so many times and some of them were really good. (The best killer doll story is the last story in Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black.) So I have no desire to see this new one. But I guess I’m in the minority…
The classics are the best.
As a science fiction fan, I’m used to suspending my disbelief. But I just can’t seem to wrap my head around the movie Yesterday. I can believe that somehow, this failed singer/songwriter/musician woke up in a world where The Beatles never existed. But I can’t believe that he would become a star by recording Beatles…
It might be an interesting story, but it’s all a bunch of conspiracy bullshit nonsense. The 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing is coming up. Maybe you can dig up some good conspiracy books about how we never landed on the moon!
The best, without a doubt, is The Yada Yada! It has everything!
Have you every wanted to bash somebody in the face with a shovel?
I would jump on this in a heartbeat! Humpback Chubs is a great name for a baseball team! I might even like this better than the Phillies farm team name, Iron Pigs! Who would win a game between the Humpback Chubs and the Iron Pigs?
“The bearer of the ticket assumes all risk and danger incidental to the sport of baseball.” In other words, you, the fan, are liable if you get hurt. This is known as “The Baseball Rule,” because it does not exist in any other sport.
Thank you! My point exactly. Why not retire while you’re still able to do stuff? What good is that money going to do if you’re a crippled-up old man at age 50?
I saw and liked the first Shrek movie. Didn’t see any of the others. Dreamworks (like Disney) makes a lot of children’s movies. And since I don’t have children, I didn’t see them and I don’t pay any attention to them. I honestly don’t know if the movies are lame or not.
He could rehab with the pressure of knowing that his entire future depends on how well the rehab goes...
That they do! I thought a tractor trailer was going to drive through my bedroom wall the first time I heard it!
Marginally?
Granted, I don’t watch a lot of cartoons and animated stuff. But can you give me some examples of these lame projects?
Didn’t Sigourney Weaver do a lot of voices in the various Batman cartoons?
This is one of the few things coming up that I’m very excited about. God only knows when we’ll get season 3 of Westworld. We’ll probably get season 3 of The Orville in January. Does anybody know if Netflix is going to do a season 2 of Lost in Space?
