I really enjoyed the movie, surprisingly so. Yet the supernatural element was friggin’ terrible, insanely convoluted and utterly unnecessary. (But I guess that’s the only way Disney knows how to make a movie in the wake of the POTC franchise.)

I had fun watching the movie, but man was that plot crazy on so many levels. Not that it bothered me that much, but still. Like the whole conquistador angle was so insane because not only were they the visually coolest part of the movie while not really doing anything, but I still can’t completely comprehed why they

“Be careful what you wish for...”

Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis are just the Tolkien white guys. (I will not apologize for that.)

There’s that scene on Titan before the big fight with Thanos where Strange uses his powers to go through every version of the upcoming fight, and it turns out there’s something like 10,000,000 of them and the good guys only win one of them.

There’s so much I love about this film (Thor’s entrance is one, Cap’s is another and the interplay between Stark, Strange and Parker is fantastic) but one of my absolute favourite bits is that ending. The notion of Thanos being the protagonist makes the film really interesting and it’s highlighted there. Try listening

The nearly silent, resigned hopelessness of those few minutes was stunning. You keep waiting for a reprieve, maybe from the post-credits scene, and even that gave you next to nothing by way of hope (yeah, Captain Marvel got paged, but so what?).

Great movie. The last five minutes particularly are such an effective gut punch. I saw it twice in cinemas and the crowds audibly gasped during the moments after the snap.

I get why some people don’t like the idea of Luke considering killing his nephew when he realized he turned to the Dark Side. It’s very shocking revelation. However, it’s important to note that the moment he considered it, he immediately felt shame for what he did. But by then it was too late as Ben had seen him

The strange part is that it was the last Star Wars movie. Like, they said it was supposed to be a trilogy, but the third movie never materialized. Still, I’m pretty satisfied with the ending of TLJ.

This movie is fucking awesome and an excellent addition to the Star Wars saga.

DUDE>WHAT ABOUT YELLOWSTONE??????? WOOODY!!!!

IT IS ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE THINGS.

I love putting on 2012, then following it with the first 5 minutes of Melancholia.

Stargate isn’t bad, either. It’s completely cheesy and silly, just like Independence Day. But it’s dumb in a way that’s kind of endearing.

I like Godzilla, The Patriot, The Day After Tomorrow, Stargate, Universal Soldier, the fake Shakespeare one and I love 2012. I enjoy them. They make me happy. Who cares who says if they are entertaining but bad or any high /low culture stuff...

Yeah, I just went to bat for The Patriot. And there’s nothing wrong with this movie, despite the unlikelihood that Goldblum could write a computer virus for the alien computer system (although the much-talked about deleted scene would have helped blunt a lot of that criticism).

You kidding? Godzilla’s awfulness practically elevates ID4 to Citizen Cane status by comparison.

I actually enjoyed The Patriot, despite it’s historical... questionableness. And it was before Gibson outed himself as an anti-semite bigot (he was only known as a homophobic bigot back then).
