I don’t understand this “new media” push for video to replace text. They claim it’s because that’s what we want, that’s how we consume things now, but it really isn’t.

I think it’s perfectly understandable to want consoles to be cheaper than $600. There are good phones that can be had for far less than what it costs to own a fancy flagship. No one bats an eye at a trendy new $1000 phone because there are options. Lots of options.

I’m telling ya, years of shows with “flawed good guys” as the hero devolving in to just outright scum being positioned as the main character is part of the problem.

It’d be really nice if every “hero” cop weren’t depicted as a brutal, Constitutional-rights-destroying, brutal asshole. And they’re considered the good guys. While the cops that attempt to de-escalate and actual uphold rights are pussies that are really the bad guys.

Yeah, kinda just gonna echo the rest of the comments here and say this really could/should have had a written article summarizing the points made in the video (or just been an article altogether). If you have a way to compare the clicks on the article to views on the video itself, I bet you'll see a discrepancy there.
