Their batting average isn’t 100%, but they hit more than they miss. Which is pretty impressive considering not everyone will like the same films, as evidenced here in the comments.

Well, that and the entire dumb Widow arc in that movie. I thought for sure Scarlett was going to quit after that. It was embarrassing.
The “name your best MCU film” is always funny to see play out. It’s a great example of how tastes can vary.
Agreed. I would like to know from the people who think this version is great, though. Ditch the cultural climates, and the anti-whatevers, and look at it from an art, animation, stylistic perspective. Does a terribad threshold for changing up shows even exist? What’s the metric of knowing which artists are good and…
I’m of two minds about this. On one hand, having low willpower is bad when binging a tv season, and that some sort of reminder to take a break would be cool. On the other hand, they can’t be annoying commercials, or promos for other shows.
Weird to see you mention this aspect because I came to the same revelation maybe about ten years ago too, i.e. the mindsets between people sitting on their asses consuming product versus the people who are actually out there creating and producing.
Avengers 4: We Were Just Resting Our Eyes
I thought the initial Brosnan movies had begun a pretty good streak for awhile. GoldenEye had women who could pretty much hold their own while still pushing the sexy. Tomorrow Never Dies had sort of a balance between Michelle Yeoh for the action and Terri Hatcher doing the typical walk-on soon-to-be-killed-by-villain m…
Yeah. I mean, MGS was influenced by movies, with Kojima adding in some gameplay curveballs along the way. To have the movies in turn be influenced by the series seems like incestuous in-breeding. And if the movie ends up being successful, then we’ll see a game adaptation of it. Talk about genetic mutations, we’ll see…
Konami: “We still don’t actually really give a shit. We made our money and burned the franchise down to the ground. Smell you fools later, we’re out!”
That’s what I used to think initially, too. Then she made that remark about the Bond series getting silly with invisible cars when everyone was being interviewed during Brosnan’s departure from the franchise. If that bitch disliked a bunch oi trademark Bond aspects, why even bother to audition. All we seem to have…
Berry wrecked that movie for me. She can’t play sexy, she can’t play tongue-in-cheek, and she can’t play tough fighter. She had no business being in that movie.
The cgi animation frames are annoyingly “cgi”. No nuance, no subtlety with body language. This show makes for great still shots. Other than that, terrible.
Someday, there will be so many MCU movies that we’ll be able to string together Marvel memes and quotes for every possible moment. Every word will be viewed as being from any given Marvel movie.
Avengers 4: End of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The “everybody dies in the end” thing is kind of a generic old joke people usually say whenever spoiler-phobics freak out during a discussion. I would imagine that no one could really tell how close Ruffalo was to the truth.
At this point, I want to see Gunn defect to WB and help straighten out the DC shit. As long as Alan Horn is at Disney, Marvel will always be subjected to every whim of that ahole and the naive knuckledraggers who agree with him firing Gunn.
Yeah, same. And then Factor 5 was also coming up with innovative audio programming while they were making the Rogue Squadron games. It impressed Nintendo so much, they asked F5 to help develop the audio system for the GameCube.
Yep, towards the end of the SNES’ run, I couldn’t believe a lot of the stuff I was hearing out of those games. DKC, Uniracers, etc where there was even a sense of a reverb effect to a lot of those compositions.
“Becky face". lol best reference.
